How to Link to a Specific Line or Paragraph on a Web Page Using HTML

When someone clicks a link to your site, the browser typically leads the person to start the new document. This is normal and expected.
But what if you want to link to a paragraph or line on a page? For example, my FAQ page ("FAQ") for links thesitewizard.com Feedback Form Wizard questions with answers to specific paragraphs. This article describes how you can use simple HTML.

For the technique described in this tutorial work, must be the author of the landing page. That is, if you want to link to, for example, paragraph 5 of a particular page should be able to change the last page to commemorate paragraph 5 by a special HTML tag.
You will use the HTML code "raw" here, so you should have an idea of how to enter the code into your editor.
If you use Dreamweaver, you can find the tutorial link directly to a line or section of a website with Dreamweaver longer relevant. The latter was written specifically for Dreamweaver users, and it is easier and faster to follow the steps there.
For those who use or Nvu, there are alternative methods to accomplish what I describe here. However, you can also follow this method, choose mode "source" for these publishers. If you use a blogging program that automatically translates the things that are written in HTML format, you have to find a way to get into the HTML view.
